“Ellen” interview fuels rumors of Taylor Lautner-Taylor Swift romance.The Golden Globes seems to have opened up the Taylor Lautner floodgates, again, of his supposed relationship with country/pop singer Taylor Swift. The resurfaced rumors come only a few weeks shy of his newest movie, “Valentine’s Day,” which debuts Feb. 12 and features an A-list ensemble cast, including — ding, ding, ding — love interest Taylor Swift.
The 17-year-old “Twilight” star (who turns 18 on Feb. 11) has come under the spotlight in recent months over his relationship with singer Taylor Swift, who turned 20 in December.
Many sources have claimed the couple — who never confirmed they were dating — split last month to focus on their careers.
But you know there’s more to the story.
When asked at the Golden Globes on Sunday if they were ever an item, Lautner told E!:
“You can pretty much believe 10 percent of everything you read online.”
The quip may have been an answer to the newest piece of “Tay-Tay” lore.
The National Enquirer reports that Lautner has not given up on a relationship with Swift, and plans to surprise her when they’re next in Los Angeles.
“He plans to overwhelm Taylor with four dozen red roses, a diamond friendship ring and a romantic dinner date when they’re both in Los Angeles,” a source said. “He whole-heartedly believes they have something special and that it’s worth fighting for.”
Swift is reported to be too career-focused to have time for love, but “Twilight” hunk Lautner “isn’t accepting her rejection.”
“The way he sees it, this is nothing more than a minor setback in an enduring love affair,” the insider added.
Taylor Swift finds herself in the middle of more relationship rumors, She’s supposedly smitten with John Mayer. The two of them recorded the song “Half of My Heart.”
Swift’s latest single “Today Was a Fairytale” — from the movie’s soundtrack — exclusively hit iTunes today. The album will be available for purchase Feb. 9, and features a second song from Swift as well as tunes from Jewel, Amy Winehouse, Maroon 5 and several others.
